General Attitude Romantic History All About Sherman Random Fact GENERAL ATTITUDE This thing called love is "madness combined with peaceful equilibrium" (Apr 22 2000) and "the deeper the love, the more spiritual it is" (Aug 26 2000). When a fan asked him to choose between "the momentous passion" and "the eternal love," Chris merely said, "Both have their merits" (June 9 2000). Christopher believes in monogamy, but also in Chris Rock's statement that a man is only as faithful as his options (Mar 28 2000). Christopher would give another chance "'cause I loved someone" (June 9 2000). A fan inquired whether someone's touch or look could eradicate that person's words or actions. Chris responded, "That depends on how caustic or beautiful the words and actions are, and on how sincere the look or touch is" (Sept 16 2000). When asked whether he believes there is one person for everyone, Christopher replied, "No, I don't believe that. I don't believe there's any right one of anything" (Dec 6 2001). According to Chris, happiness lies in "what you believe and sometimes between the sheets" (June 9 2000). The best time of day to make love is "anytime" (Nov 25 2001). When asked to pick "to have or to hold," Chris chose "to hold. It feels better" (June 9 2000). The most memorable dream he's had "had something to do with two women" (Mar 3 2000). (Mar 29 2002) ROMANTIC HISTORY In response to a question about his history with the opposite sex, Christopher said "I've had many deep and dark, lonely periods, but on the whole, I've done pretty well" (Dec 27 1999). Chris has had three serious girlfriends in his life (Apr 26 2005). His first girlfriend gave him his first kiss; her name was Lolly and they were both five years old (Apr 29 2000; Oct 8 2001). Chris says, "My taste in women is wildly eclectic: Asian, Hispanic, blonde to big-boned" (Apr 20 2005). He used to date a Puerto Rican woman (Sept 7 2001) and he has an old girlfriend living in Germany (July 3 2000). When asked whether it is common to have women "get worked up" in response to his sex appeal, Chris replied, "Not before I was 'famous'" (Sept 29 2003). In fact, the worst pick-up line someone ever used on him was "Wow, cool penis" (Apr 24 2000). ALL ABOUT SHERMAN A fan asked, "Other than your darlin' wife, what or who is the greatest love of your life?" Chris answered, "The only and only is she" (Mar 26 2000). When Chris first met Sherman, it was "not quite" love at first sight, "but almost" (Mar 28 2000). If he weren't with Sherman, Chris thinks that he would be with "no one" (Nov 3 2001). He elaborates a little on why their marriage works: "Lotta luck, lotta patience and we dated a lot of different people before we met, so we knew what was out there and weren't so worried about what we'd be missing" (Jan 31 2005). Christopher says that he and Sherman met while working on a show; he says, "It'd be great to work together" professionally again (Apr 11 2001). In terms of Chris's career, Sherman "is happy I'm happy" (Feb 9 2000). She keeps a scrapbook of clippings, reviews and memorabilia from Chris's career (Apr 24 2000). When asked to tell the most romantic thing Sherman has ever done for him, Chris said that there are "too many moments to recount. Romantic, sexy and naughty…she covers the bases" (Apr 13 2000). However, when asked whether he's ever used essential oils for a "therapeutic or recreational use," Chris disclosed, "My wife has used them on me" (May 22 2000). On the New Year's Eve leading up to the year 2000, Christopher and Sherman went to a "massive blow-out." When the clock struck midnight, he was "at Tom Fontana's, kissing my girl." Afterwards, "the wife and I took a bike-rickshaw ride through New York home." Christopher's favourite holiday gift from that year was "love" (Mar 3 2000; Mar 4 2000).
