Personal Information Sex and Romance Family Matters Roles Ask Someone Else State Secrets No Comment Chris has at times refused or neglected to answer a fan's question or questions. The reason he's given for not answering some questions is that, in his opinion, "some things die from over-analysis" (Aug 15 2000). Here is a list of some of the questions that got a pass at least once. Some questions were initially ignored, then answered later. Check the relevant section of the FAQs to see if the answer you seek is there. If it is not, and you choose to ask one of these again, you may well find that your question will go unanswered. You should also note that Chris may have answered some of these questions outside of Ask Chris. Take the time to peruse the site to see if Chris was more forthcoming to reporters than he's been to fans when it comes to certain things. – Editor PERSONAL INFORMATION Chris refused to tell how he eats his ice cream cone (June 19 2000) and whether he prefers Coke or Pepsi (Aug 13 2000). He's not telling whether he's ever been on Ecstasy (Oct 19 2000), the last time he misbehaved (Aug 9 2000), or the worst answer he's ever given to a question (June 22 2003). The kind of fabric softener he uses "iz secret" (Feb 7 2000). Christopher declines to share what physical habit he has that gives it away when he's having a moment of uncertainty (Oct 27 2004), what he fears most in real life, and why (Nov 16 2004) and whether he considers himself an optimist or pessimist (Oct 3 2000). He also refuses to say whether he thinks people are born bad (Dec 6 2001). He's not saying whether he considers himself inherently talented (Feb 4 2001) or whether he would prefer to be an "actor's actor" and make great movies, or make $20 million per film, making horrible movies (Sept 12 2002). He has refused to disclose whether he stays in character between takes (Apr 26 2005). A fan asked, "When you are older and you are reflecting back on your life, what is a positive thing that you would like to remember, and/or be remembered for?" Chris replied, "Let me think on that" (Dec 6 2001). Chris says that fatherhood has added another layer to his performances, "but the depth and complexity in which it has had an effect is too much to really explain here…perhaps in my best-selling, scandal-dripping, yet witty and accessible memoirs…yes, perhaps" (Mar 20 2005). ROLES Chris says, "Sorry, can't give it up" when asked what he thinks allows Elliot Stabler to "hack what he does" (June 14 2000). If fans want to know what it's like playing a murderer, Chris says, "Wait for the memoirs" (Oct 19 2000). While he was playing both Elliot Stabler and Chris Keller, Chris refused to say which role he would give up if he had to (Feb 18 2002) and did not reveal how he related to either character (Oct 9 2002). Chris also has refused to say why Correctional Officer Lopresti was never brought to justice on the show (Mar 1 2003). People who want to know if Chris still has his baby blanket should ask Chris's mom (Apr 21 2000). Finally, those who would like to know why Keller would try to kill Zabitz if Keller was already afraid of going to hell should "ask Tom Fontana" (Aug 29 2000).
