SVU Seminar November 28, 2000 |

Christina Anyway, Wayne and I got home from Toronto on Monday morning and then I went back and got Nadine in the afternoon. The next day the five of us, me, Wayne, Nadine, Carla and Dana drove up and had lunch in the Village after which we went uptown and got the tickets. I was ready to get in line then but found out they close at 6 and then reopen at 7. We shopped and then came back at about 6 at which point Ingrid, Fruity and Elisa were already there so we joined them and hung out as the crowd grew. When they opened the doors it was a free for all! Wayne and I were in the first group of ten they took down to the auditorium so we got to sit in the second row(the first row was reserved). I could not believe how close the chairs on stage were! When Chris walked down the steps I nearly fainted when I saw the leather pants. God he looked great in those pants! Whew. Chris did look a bit anxious on stage and spent the time he wasn't talking fidgeting, drinking his water and "checking in" with Mariska. They obviously have a wonderful relationship. Chris had so many great things to say I am really looking forward to Beth's transcript(thank you so much for doing this Beth!) Afterwards Chris was so incredibly nice the way he tried to accomodate us with the picture taking. He is honestly the nicest person. I can't say enough about how totally decent he was to us. I got another picture which Wayne took with Carla's camera which also proves that I have the greatest husband in the world So we went to the Hilton and grabbed some desert and then headed home. The ride home was intense cause I was so damn tired! But we made it and I got up and went to work this morning I just feel we are very lucky that Chris has proven to be such a kind, generous person. He is really wonderful! | |
